About Us
DHARMAKSHETRA - A TEERTH STHAN
As per the Divine Directions, Dharmakshetra has to become a Teerth Sthan. It is an idea given by the Avatar almost two years ago. This is entirely the Avatar's wish.
A Teerth means a Divine Spark. A Teerth Sthan is a place which is not only holy but from where Divine Vibrations constantly emanate. These holy vibrations touch the soul of the individual who visits it and thereby the individual or the jiva gets a kind of satisfaction on visiting such a place since Divine Spark of Vibrations touch the individual soul and raises his or her level of AWARENESS. In other words a Teerth Sthan is filled with Divine Vibrations.
In the case of Dharmakshetra, it is already a Holy Place since it is Bhagawan Baba's Abode. It is Baba's wish that this place should be all the more charged by powerful vibrations. The central place from where these Training Activities for imparting Training in Sri Sathya Sai Educare Programme are carried out is Satya Deep.
There are specific rules and regulations, which are to be strictly observed. Any sincere Sadhak would be allowed to participate in this Divine and Noble endeavour provided he or she is willing to strictly abide by the rules and regulations and observe the discipline in totality.
Let us all pray that we become Humble Instruments in the Divine Mission and help in making Bhagawan's Omnipresence felt at Dharmakshetra, just as one feels after entering a Teerth Sthan.
DHARMAKSHETRA is established to meet the growing demands of parents to provide
their children a value-based education, the Institute of Sathya
Sai Education conducts several courses, organises exhibitions
and presentations for teachers, parents, educators and administrators.
Hundreds of Teacher Orientation courses have been conducted
for schools, which have adopted the programme in the past decade.
As a result, systematic trials were organised and evaluation was
conducted.
In the past, the Institute has worked in collaboration with
several official agencies, such as the Navodaya Vidyalayas, Western
Railway, Delhi and Pune Municipal Corporations, and the Govt.
of Maharashtra, to promote the Curriculum for Human Excellence
in their schools. Recently, similar Institutes to promote the
philosophy of Sathya Sai Education for Human Excellence have been
established in Thailand, Australia, Zambia, South Africa, Denmark,
U.K. and Canada. There are currently 24 countries in the world,
which are awarding the Diploma & Advance Diploma courses through
the six Institutes of Sathya Sai Education.
The Institute in Mumbai is one in the chain of such centers that
serves the needs of this region. The Institute in India is located
at Dharmakshetra, which has a very enriched and peaceful ambience.
It has a Resource Centre with a well-equipped library of books,
audio-visuals and other training materials. A number of 'adopted'
schools in Mumbai are also associated with the Institute where
the new methodology can be experimented and trial-tested. In view
of the need to reach far away Institutions, residential Diploma
courses have now been started for professional educators from
schools all over the country.
